We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to cover a fixed term 12 month maternity leave contract for one of our leading manufacturing clients, based in Shannon, Co.Clare.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role will encompass a number of responsibilities including reconciliations, payroll, price book management and data reporting.
The Role:

Processing payroll – Monthly salaries and Weekly pay runs

Managing and reporting to ROS, including payroll deduction payments etc.

Year End payroll reporting and reconciliations
-
BIK calculation and application
-
Credit control and allocation of customer payments

Bank Reconciliations
-
System price book management
-
Monthly intrastate reporting and reconciliation
-
Management of shared services processing
-
Monthly journal processing
-
Other Ad Hoc tasks as required
The Candidate:
-
Qualified / Part qualified Accountant or Accounting technician

Aprx. 2 years relevant experience in the field

Knowledge of payroll advantageous

Detail orientated with ability to meet deadlines while producing top quality work

Highly motivated with ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision in a dynamic and continuously improving environment.

Good team player with top prioritisation skills

Experience with ERP and Lean Systems a plus
