Our Shannon based client have a wonderful opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, the new Accounts Assistant will join an established multinational and a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Bank Reconciliations
- Monitoring and reporting on cash movements
- Assist in preparation of client Monthly Cash Reporting
- Assist in accounts preparation process
- Preparation and filing of VAT returns
- Verify all invoices have been correctly coded and authorised
- Preparation of online bank payments
- Posting cash receipts and invoices onto accounting systems
- Assist in preparation of detailed daily cash analysis
- Provide other administrative assistance to the business as required
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant experience in a similar position
- Experience with Oracle Financials
- IT skills to include Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, etc.
- Excellent Communications Skills
- Motivated, proactive, and the ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to work as part of a team and within tight timelines.
