A rare opportunity for a permanent, part-time, Payroll/Accounts Payable Assistant to join a global leading company based in Shannon, Co. Clare.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, the Payroll/AP Assistant will be responsible for key administration tasks within the Finance Team.
Responsibilities include:

Processing weekly Payroll in a timely & efficient manner

Liaising with HR to ensure all employees are receiving the correct allowances

Dealing with all queries that arise in relation to weekly payroll

Keep up to date on all payroll criteria, both internal and external, attending courses on Payroll and updating the Finance Team on the latest developments

Invoice reconciliation

Dealing with general queries, and liaising with Purchasing re price and quantity queries on invoices

Adhere to all internal control procedures

Oversee Travel Expenses and payments

Process and auditing weekly stock cycle count
Requirements for the position:
-
3 years’ experience in a similar role
-
An Accountancy qualification would be an advantage

Excellent communication, organisational and administrative, skills
-
Strong IT skills
-
Knowledge of Payroll
-
Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines while producing work of a high standard

Highly motivated with the ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision

Ability to prioritize workload
