We are currently assisting with the recruitment of a Sales Engineer to work for one of Irelands leading suppliers of high-end machined components, tooling and assemblies, based in Shannon, Co Clare
This position is ideally suited to a technically minded individual, ideally with experience of the Aerospace or Medical Device sectors. Candidates should have the ability to converse confidently at all levels right up to sale completion.
The role is predominantly office based, dealing with clients throughout Ireland generating specifications and sales quotations, and creating product awareness to achieve the company's agreed targets.
Responsibilities include:
Generation of sales enquiries and product offering awareness across the country and client base
Direct marketing to customers and prospective clients
Organisation and delivery of accredited presentations
Interpret enquiries and generate quotations to orders in line with agreed targets
Technical ability to advise and help select products for client applications
Trade Show and conference exhibitions
Full product training will be provided
Qualifications & Skills:
3rd level qualification in Engineering or Business or manufacturing Or Trade Qualification
Experience in Customer facing Sales or Technical Support Role
Experience in CNC machining and regulated industries
Ability to interpret customer requirements and communicate effectively
Negotiation skills
Ability to drive sales from cold calling to closure
