Eflexes Recruitment are currently working with their long established manufacturing client based in the west cork region in the recruitment of Stores Operatives.
We have are seeking a Full Time Stores Operative on a Permanent basis and a Full Time Stores Operative on a 12 month contract basis. We are looking for experienced stores people for these roles. The roles are days only, no shift work and some Saturday work will be required on a rota basis.
Job Descriptions:
• Issuing consumable items and engineering stores items to the production departments
• Processing Goods Receivable Notices (GRNs) and liaising with purchasing department and Finance to ensure the smooth process flow through purchase, receipt and issue.
• Manage the stock control systems
• Ensure adequate of regular stock items is maintained
• Perform regular stock takes
• Ensure the cleanliness and workplace organisation of the storeroom is maintained at all times
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Ensure compliance with all company and statutory Health & Safety requirements
• Notification of deliveries received when appropriate
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3+ years in a similar Stores Operative role in a manufacturing environment
• Strong background in stock management, rotation, cycle counting
• Strong IT Skills essential and must have experience using a Warehouse Management system
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Flexible, with the ability to work with minimum direction as part of a busy warehousing team.
