Truck & Freight Co-ordinator
- Working within a busy transport team, to allocate drivers for busy transport Team
- Planning finished Goods in Warehouse to meet customer deliver dates
- Liaise with Sales and Operations to ensure that customer needs are satisfied
- Work with integrated business systems to ensure that order is traced and tracked to delivery
- Ensure that paperwork has traceability at all stages
- Ensure cost savings built into logistics function
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:
- Experience in transport/logistics scheduling/planning essential
- Agricultural background will be beneficial
- Good PC skills.
KEY SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES / CORE COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent command of English (both written and verbal)
- Strong communication skills
- Must be comfortable and have experience with transport/logistics systems.
- Ability to work and make decisions with minimal supervision
