Our Client based in Shannon, Co. Clare, has an opportunity for an Electrician to join their team on an 18-month Fixed Term Contract.
If you have completed a recognized electrical qualification with post apprenticeship experience, preferably industrial, and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment with responsibility for ensuring the effective monitoring and maintenance of all electrical infrastructure across the site, then this could be the perfect role for you!!
Key Areas of Responsibility:

Completion of planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance on electrical infrastructural assets; Planned Maintenance programme; Building Services; Fire Alarm systems; Emergency Lighting systems; Car Park systems; Street lighting; Lifts/escalators; HVAC; HBS Maintenance; Heating and Water systems and minor projects.

Responsible for ensuring a high standard of work on all elements of monitoring, reporting and maintenance of electrical assets to NSAI and EASA standards

Carry out critical asset repairs, inspections, and health checks of systems

Use, promote and monitor the asset management CMMS

Regular monitoring of Electrical Scada Systems

Support Site Facilities Management
Required Qualifications & Experience:
-
Electrical trade apprenticeship and appropriate trade certificates

Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a fully qualified industrial electrician

Good working knowledge of electrical systems design, operations, and maintenance of high voltages systems

Experience of working in a highly regulated and/or safety critical working environment

Familiar with and understand the NSAI regulation and how they affect the maintenance works of major electrical systems

Understand the safety regulations and have a strong concern for the health and safety of self and others

Competent IT skills with experience with Windows based software
-
Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively, with team members, Engineering Team and wider stakeholders

Strong problem-solving skills accepting ownership for delivery and accountability for results
-
Strong work ethic and high attention to detail and quality of work

Full Clean Class B Licence
