eFlexes Staffing & Recruitment are currently recruiting a Full time Test Operator for a Large Air Conditioning company in Cork. This permanent role is based onsite in the manufacturing plant.
Duties & Responsibilities
Electrical Function Testing. Running components to ensure correct wiring, confirm operation of sensors & actuators
Electrical Safety Testing (Dielectric Strength Testing)
Load software and configure unit as per sales order requirement. This will require the candidate to learn and understand all the functional options within the units software and to be able to apply parameter changes on a unit by unit basis.
Configure Variable Speed Drives
Set-up and test communication networks including RS485 and IP networks
Perform unit quality check. Ensure all unit builds (Mechanical & Electrical) are up to company standards
Follow the final test & inspection report which is a step by step process to functional and quality check the unit
Report defects to the Production Manager and recheck/signoff after rework is completed
Work with the quality engineer and engineering manager to improve the test process and keep the test inspection report up to date
Requires a meticulous eye for detail
Will be expected to work as part of a team so must be a team player.
Must have an outgoing personality will the ability to work with other production departments to ensure product is built defect free
