Electronic Technician
The primary role will be supporting Manufacturing for product debug, with a significant secondary role working as part of the R&D team; Hardware development, modification and maintenance
• Providing technical assistance to manufacturing in failure debug, preventive action development and in relation to test requirements and performance.
• Design and develop electronic hardware to customer specification.
• Develop product specifications in conjunction with customers.
• Assist in the specification of enclosures and ancillary equipment.
• Working closely with the sales team and customers to understand product requirements, create product datasheets etc; provide in-depth customer support for resolving issues and responding to suggestions for improvements.
• Responsibility for ensuring ECN process adhered to and requirements of ISO9001 & TS16949 are observed.
Qualifications Required:
• Primary or Post-Graduate/Masters degree in Electronic Engineering
Key Technical Strengths:
• Good hardware knowledge and hardware development skills are very important.
• Strong knowledge in communication standards such as GSM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 4G etc. would be useful.
• Knowledge and understanding of Digital Signal Processing and Printed Circuit Board layout skills will be a considerable advantage
