Eflexes Staffing & Recruitment are currently working on behalf of an International Air conditioning company in the recruitment of a Mechanical Design Engineer to be based in Cork, Ireland. This role will be based in the company’s Cork Manufacturing plant.
This Mechanical Design Engineer role involves being part of the design team and working with senior engineers in speciality design mechanical air handling units for datacentre applications globally for key customers.
Requirements:
• A mechanical/HVAC/Building Services engineering degree or related field with experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical HVAC design and selection for similar technologies, preferably in a manufacturing application
• Moderate-Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
• Have a positive, pro-active approach to working in a team environment along with excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient IT Skills.
Preferred experience also includes:
• LEAN training and/or experience of working in a LEAN organisation
• Experience in HVAC manufacturing design
• Experience in mechanical and/or controls design of datacentre air handling units
