We have an immediate opportunity with long established multinational client based in Shannon, Co.Clare for an experienced Process Engineer to join their team!
JOB OVERVIEW:
The position will focus on all aspects of process improvement including process capability, process lead-time and productivity to deliver sustainable innovative engineering solutions.
DUTIES AND TASKS:
Lead process improvements in the field of powder technology and sintering as a member of the production development and engineering team.
? Build deep dive understanding of the variables in synthesis and resulting cause and effect on sintered product.
? Project manages all elements of process improvement in terms of process capability, and product attributes.
? Proactively share updates and ensure all deliverables / dependencies are highlighted.
? Build & execute strategic plans, ensuring quality requirements are adheared to.
CRITERIA SKILLS:
Post Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Production/Industrial /Chemical Engineering or equivalent with 5 years plus experience.
? Significant project management experience (a related project management qualification is a distinct advantage).
? An openness to new technologies and ability to follow-up on these independently.
? A motivated individual with strong can do attitude with a strong ability to think “outside the box”.
? Ability to lead, communicate and appropriately influence project team members
? Ability to relate and work effectively with staff at all levels in the organization.
? Excellent organizational skills.
? Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal across all management levels.
? Strong analytical skills.
? Manufacturing high volume and cleanroom experience is a distinct advantage
