Following Lean practices to support the manufacturing process, to ensure that products are being manufactured to the clients' standards.

Resolving issues with equipment, material, or process, and following escalation processes where applicable.

Supporting the implementation of product/process improvements, and products throughout life cycle

Support products throughout their life cycle, developing and/or implementing changes as needed.

Supporting new product developments and product transfers between factories/shifts:
-
Actively involved in prototype, pre-production, or qualification builds.

Assisting in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) assessments and ensuring that they are appropriately documented.
-
Support development of processes that are safe, repeatable, and reliably meet design requirements.
-
Design, build and implement needed workstations and tooling.
-
Perform work responsibilities as assigned by Production, Mfg. engineering or MPOG
-
Any other duties as assigned by manager

Qualification in Electronics Technology, Robotics or Computer Science

Strong knowledge of circuit board assembly and components.
-
Knowledge of programming of equipment such as component placement, soldering, automated inspection, encapsulation, etc.

Demonstrated ability to work on your own initiative, and experienced in problem solving and learning technical concepts.

Proficiency Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Glovia.

Good technical writing and verbal communication skills required. Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Flexibility to work overtime as business need dictates.

This role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 45lbs, the ability to distinguish between wire colours and to work with odours.
