eFlexes are currently recruiting a Facilities Electrical Technician on behalf of a renowned aviation company in Shannon, Co Clare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold and exhibit a strong safety culture in all facilities-related tasks.
- Perform preventive and reactive maintenance tasks in both electrical and mechanical domains as directed by the Facilities Engineer.
- Conduct electrical plant installations and services as needed.
- Develop and sustain a comprehensive understanding of relevant plant processes for facilities equipment.
- Diagnose and analyse issues with plant and equipment, recommend solutions, and execute necessary repairs or modifications.
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of the Building Management System.
- Lead teams in maintenance, repair, and installation work as required.
- Act as a substitute for the Facilities Engineer when needed.
Qualifications:
- Relevant electrical trade qualification.
- A minimum of two years' post-qualification experience, preferably in a facilities maintenance setting.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks with high attention to detail.
- Desirable experience in HVAC, 10kV distribution systems, UPS systems, elevators, and fire detection/protection systems.
