Buying Administrator - Contract
Have you an interest in health & beauty? We are currently recruiting a Buying Administrator for a Dublin based leading Irish Pharmacy chain.
The Buying Administrator will work within the Cosmetic / Premium Beauty section, reporting directly to the Senior Buyer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a great team and gain some valuable experience in a Health & Beauty Pharmacy retail group.
This particular position will be based in south west Dublin and is a 6–9 month contract, with a flexible start time with the option to work on a hybrid basis after initial training.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Develop strong working relationships with colleagues, management, reps and Stores
- Support Buying team by dealing with marketing requests, supplier orders and set up
- Ownership and management of incoming mails
- Provide general day to day administrative support to the Purchasing team in areas such as premium buying, general shop, OTC and electrical (dependent on-line manager)
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders to ensure that Buying processes are implemented effectively and on time
Qualifications & Experience:
- 1-2 years’ experience in a Buying / Administrative role or the ability to demonstrate comparable knowledge and skills
- Minimum Leaving Certificate, but Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to plan and organise workload with an excellent attention to detail
- Enthusiastic and motivated
- Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in a team environment.
- An understanding of, and passion for retail
- Capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines
