We currently have an excellent new opportunity for Planning Administrator with long established Shannon, Co. Clare based Aviation client. Position will be offered on an initial 6 month contract with significant opportunity for the longer term for the right candidate.
The Planning Administrator will be part of the Planning Team and work closely with the aircraft line manager and check scheduler to ensure the administration of a maintenance visit is accurately managed and recorded. The Check Administrator is responsible for managing the work package from the input of the maintenance visit through to the scanning audit and return of the completed work pack to the customer after completion of the maintenance visit.
Essential Job Function
The duties would include, but not limited to:
- Meet with the pre-planner to gain a good understanding of the aircraft maintenance work to be carried out as per the work pack
- Once informed of defects or snags from the tech log transfer them to the work pack
- Act as point of contact for the customer representatives, managing requests and generating additional job cards as required
- Ensure all communication between production, engineering and customer representatives are accurately recorded during the project/maintenance lifecycle
- Ensure closed cards for all work completed daily is reflected in the work pack tally, and complete scanning cards to the storage locations per guidelines
- At the end of the check, prepare the work pack accurately for the Certificate of Release to Service (CRS), supporting the CRS person.
- Carry out scanning of check paperwork where required
- Post-check reviews the completed work pack closure and audit for accuracy
- Must be flexible around working hours as ad hoc overtime may be required
- Additional Ad hoc duties as required
- Performs data entry as required to the customer IT system
Candidate Requirements
- Non-EU/EAA nationals require current and valid permission to work and reside in the Republic of Ireland
- A Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or another relevant subject.
- Knowledge of the Aviation Regulations (EASA and FAA) is desirable
- Strong IT system skills with proficiency in the use of MS Office applications
- Detail-oriented with exceptional time management and multi-tasking ability
- Must be able to perform well under pressure
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills, teambuilding skills, and the ability to persuade others without creating adversarial relationships
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
