A Shipping Coordinator / Administrator is required by a major multinational organisation for its location in Shannon, Co. Clare. This role is being offered on a 12 month initial contract, duties will include:
• Ensure all Sales Orders moving from Production to Shipping have all lines complete and available
• Ensure all production orders are closed once all production activity is complete
• Manage flow of Sales orders from Shipping to Logistics
• Work with the Logistics team on Sales Order and customer specific requirements for shipping of goods
• Identify single line orders and discrete part orders and present in Shipping for packing
• Work with Planning team on prioritization of critical orders to ensure urgent shipments
• Expedite material through receiving and inspection as needed for Sales Orders
• Ensure Cycle Counts are current in Area of Responsibility and support as required
• Use the Oracle or SAP system to reconcile inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy above 98%
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
• The ability to work on their own initiative and balance daily tasks and responsibilities as required
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and will be able to present information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong negotiations skills are also needed and the ability to influence others.
• Competency working with industry standard computer packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email.
