We currently have some exciting new roles of Duty Operations Manager with well-known County Clare based hospitality brand.   Reporting to Operations Manager, positions will be offered as full-time permanent roles with attractive salary for the right candidates.     Position will be operational on seven day week basis in line with bi-weekly/monthly roster

Main Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, motivate and develop skills of all operational staff.
  • Supervise and actively manage staff, including the performance management.
  • Be fully aware of all site facilities, special activities and promotions relevant to the facility
  • Ensure visitor needs are anticipated and satisfied to the highest standard.
  • Provide direction to employees on operation and procedural issues using SOP’s as a guide while developing reviewing SOP’s as necessary.
  • Using Clockwise system, daily checking anomalies, updating records, ensuring all documentation is completed and uploaded.
  • Assist with preparation of rosters and organise additional cover as required.
  • Deal with any capacity management issues as required.
  • Project Management as assigned by Mgt, including Health & Safety, Recruitment & Selection, Procurement, Green initiatives, IT Support etc.
  • Assist with on site marketing and promotions
  • See guest feedback and react to same by liaising with Guest Relations
  • Create and deliver educational content (on site and off site)
  • Oversee facility refurbishment and renovations as required.
  • Monitor performance, maintenance and upgrades to Site Security Systems.

Requirements/Essential Skills & Attributes:

  • Proven track record in supervisory and leadership skills in operations.
  • Flexibility and a strong problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of teamwork & motivation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proven organisation skills and experience in multi-tasking
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong mechanical knowledge of operation of the facility.
  • PC literate and good keyboard skills, with Microsoft Office proficient.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Fluent English spoken and written.

Desirable skills:

  • Experience in tourism service or visitor attractions
  • Project Management experience
  • Familiarity with Oracle, Clockwise or Gama an advantage.
