We currently have a superb new opportunity for HR Business Partner with long established Shannon, Co. Clare based multinational client. Position will be offered on an initial 9 months contract with potential to extend for the right candidate. The successful candidate will cover the full spectrum of HR activities as a member of a multi-disciplined, dynamic and progressive HR team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for partnering with specified business units, build strong relationships with key stakeholders within those areas to provide excellent HR expertise.
- Add value to the organisation by providing a proactive solutions-driven service to managers and staff on matters relating to HR policies, practices and procedures, offering advice, guidance, support and information as required.
- Responsible for supporting, developing and promoting best in class people management, progressive employee engagement, corporate values, transformation management and communication.
- Work closely with line managers within their functions, build strong relationships and ensure that a high quality, commercially focused HR service is delivered.
- Support managers with day-to-day HR related queries including providing reports, recruitment, development and provide advice on policies & procedures.
- Identify and complete continuous improvement projects within the HR department.
- Support and drive the execution of the HR people strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experienced HR Business Partner with min 3 years’ experience, ideally within an operations / manufacturing environment.
- You will have experience with exposure to all aspects of HR, including compensation & benefits (payroll, pensions, tax etc.), absence and case management, employee relations, grievances and disciplinary, mediation, recruitment, employee engagement, employee communication and wellbeing.
- Mobility experience of employee secondments, international transfers & hiring would be an advantage (work permit, visa etc.).
- You will be a natural communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within cross functional teams to solve people problems.
- The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude and is interested in a challenge.
