Our Client, a well-established world leader in their field, are currently looking for a HR Generalist to join their team in Shannon, Co. Clare.
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Generalist will be a key member of the organisations HR Team, and a central function within the company.

Responsibilities will include:

Employee Relations – dealing with employee requests and queries on a daily basis.

Recruitment and Selection
-
Responsibility for Employee Benefits Administration, such as; Pension, Medical Insurance, provision and ordering of safety wear.

Preparing monthly HR Reports for various departments.
-
Support in developing on boarding processes incl. ZUP Process
-
Introduce and integrate new staff members.
-
Set up new employees on various systems prior to start date and prepare for arrival on-site.

Implementing and updating Company Policies and Company Handbook
-
Management of Personnel Files and training records
-
Management of on boarding and relocation of international employee’s incl. visa etc.
-
Provide advice and support to management team where applicable
-
Record and administrate working time incl. absence management
-
Support in providing employee appraisals
-
Payroll Preparation in conjunction with Finance dept.

Develop and manage public relations. Plan and manage events.
-
Maintenance of the company Intranet website.

HR representative on the Company communications team
-
Ad hoc human resources duties and projects.
Candidates should have:
-
Degree in a business-related subject, preferably Human Resources related discipline.

Ideally CIPD qualified
-
Excellent PC Skills – Word, Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Outlook.

Previous experience of maintaining a time and attendance system is a distinct advantage.

Knowledgeable on current Irish employment legislation.

Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
