Our Client, a world leader in the aviation sector, has a new position open for a HR Generalist at their facility in Celbridge, Co. Kildare.
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Generalist will enjoy working across the full HR lifecycle, gaining invaluable experience with a highly regarded employer of choice.

Responsibilities will include:

Employee Relations – dealing with employee requests and queries on a daily basis.

Recruitment and Selection
-
Responsibility for Employee Benefits Administration, such as; Pension, Medical Insurance, provision and ordering of safety wear.

Preparing monthly HR Reports for various departments.
-
Support in developing on boarding processes incl. ZUP Process
-
Introduce and integrate new staff members at MES DUB. Set up new employees on various systems prior to start date and prepare for arrival on-site.

Liaising with finance for Staff Travel expenses
-
Implementing and updating Company Policies and Company Handbook
-
Management of Personnel Files
-
Management of on boarding and relocation of international employee’s incl. visa etc.

Administration and updating of internal training records
-
Provide advice and support to management team where applicable
-
Plan and provide non-technical training (onboarding training) concept
-
Record and administrate working time incl. absence management
-
Support in providing employee appraisals
-
Payroll Preparation in conjunction with Finance dept.

Develop and manage public relation. Plan and manage events
-
Coordinate corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities
-
Handle internal communications
-
Ad hoc human resources duties and projects
Skills & Qualifications required:
-
Degree in a business-related subject, preferably human resources related discipline.

Ideally CIPD qualified
-
Excellent PC Skills – Word, Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Outlook.

Previous experience of maintaining a time and attendance system is a distinct advantage.

Knowledgeable on current Irish employment legislation.

Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
