Production Laboratory Technician
We are currently hiring a Laboratory Technician to work with our long-established customer in Shannon, Co. Clare. The Technician will work as part of the shift production team and report to a Senior Analyst. This role would suit a Lab Technician with 1-2 years of experience or a recently qualified graduate.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will come from a previous manufacturing environment. You will have experience in a Quality Assurance/ Quality Control role in a regulated industry. You will have experience in laboratory testing and knowledge of test equipment and methodologies.
The following experience is preferred but not necessary:
Good Laboratory Practice
3rd level Science Qualification
Responsibilities:
Routine QC testing in support to the manufacturing plant
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards
Carry out equipment checks as per schedule
Ensure all health and safety standards are complied with
Work with Process Engineers to troubleshoot production issues
Work closely with/communicate with colleagues in QC to ensure demand requirements are met within the allocated time frame
Key Requirements & Attributes:
1-2 Years Previous experience

Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational, and administrative skills.
Pro-active and a can do mentality
Flexible and committed attitude with the ability to display initiative
IT literate with strong Word, Excel, and database skills
Flexibility to work on a rotating shift pattern
Ability to organise and prioritise in a deadline-driven environment
