CNC Machine Programmer/ Setter
eFlexes Recruitment are currently recruiting and experienced CNC Machine Programmer/ Setter for a large multinational organisation in Shannon. Co. Clare.
This contract role will include shift work Monday to Friday.
We are currently looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3+ years previous experience in CNC Programming and setting.
Responsibilities and Experience required:
-Designing and writing programs for machines from customer drawings
-Selecting cutting tools, speeds & feeds, and advising on inspection methods
-Achieving competitive cycle times in line with industry norms
- Achieving quality levels for products manufactured in the area
-Introducing new components and achieving first article approval with customer
-Machine and tooling preventive maintenance plans
-Maintain health and safety standards for the area.
-Initiate and promote continuous improvement on quality, cycle times and overall yield
-Coach team members and assist in skills development
-Experience of high volume manufacturing and meeting production targets
-Strong work ethic with ability and eagerness for continuous learning and mentoring others
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent time management and organizational skills
