Due to continued expansion and a growing customer portfolio, our Shannon based client, a well-established engineering company, AS9100 and ISO9001 Certified, have exciting opportunities for motivated individuals to work within their CNC Milling Department.
The new CNC Milling Operator will join a progressive precision component manufacturer, and utilise modern CNC equipment to produce precision components for the Aerospace and Medical Device industries worldwide.
This is a permanent position with pension and shift allowance, and a friendly and supportive work environment.
The Ideal Candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in CNC milling on 5 axis machines, and being
confident and proficient in the following will be a distinct advantage.

Ability to set up and machine with Siemens & Fanuc controllers

Ability to set up machine, Measure & Set tooling, Prep Material etc

Ability to work with various types of material from Aluminium, Titanium, Plastics and Stainless Steel.

Knowledge of programming and an ability to read programs, preferably Hypermill or SolidCAM

Ensure components and finished products consistently meet design specifications and highest engineering and quality standards

understanding of geometric tolerances

Strong attention to detail and conscientious/thorough approach to assigned tasks

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced busy environment producing quality work to a high standard.
