Due to continued expansion and a growing customer portfolio, our Shannon-based client has an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to work within their CNC Turning Department.
The Ideal Candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in CNC turning and be confident in programming and machining complex components from one-off to small batch work on various material types. Being confident and proficient in the following will be a distinct advantage, although training can be provided in certain areas:
- Ability to program machines with a Fanuc controller.
- Ability to set up machines, measure and set tooling, bore jaws, prep material, etc.
- Able to operate lathes with Sub-Spindle/Single turret.
- Ability to work with various types of materials, including Cobalt Chrome, Titanium, Plastics, and Stainless Steel.
- Understanding of geometric tolerances.
- Strong attention to detail and a conscientious/thorough approach to assigned tasks.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment, producing high-quality work to a high standard.
- Be flexible, proactive, demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and commitment.
- High level of initiative and self-motivation.
- Shift allowance and pension.
