Eflexes Recruitment and Staffing Solutions have an exciting opportunity for a Product Test Setup Operator with our long established client based in Shannon, Co. Clare. Position will be offered on initial 3 month contract with a significant opportunity to extend.
The potential candidates should be familiar with electronic, ideally have some experience testing electronic products, have a working knowledge of Digital and Analog electronics with a disciplined approach to problem solving and diagnostics.
His/Her primary focus will be to work as part of a cell-based product team to achieve PCB assembly and testing systems production targets, recording information to identify process improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
-Understand what it means to be responsible for your own safety and the safety of others, tasks are assess from a safety viewpoint before undertaking them.
-Compliance to work instructions and procedures.
-Setup and operation of test systems / benches.
-Release production plans, kit sheets and labels per factory order, product functional testing and keying of production orders to SAP once complete.
-Maintaining batch management for designated components / sub-assemblies with consumption in sequence per production order.
-Log traceability, debug and repair information.
-Support in-house 1st line maintenance of test systems and equipment, to ensure safety, production and quality targets are consistently achieved.
-Provide data support on failure analysis to the Quality and Test Engineering functions.
-Work with technical support team to resolve technical process and product failure issues.
-Maintain a high level of house keeping and ensure a safe working environment.
Knowledge / Experience:
-Successfully completed either of
-Diploma / Certificate in Electronics.
-Level 6 / 7 Certification in Electronics.
-Some experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
Personal Traits:
-Be familiar with electrical safety requirements and standards.
-Understand the fundamentals of electronics.
-Ability to read and understand schematics.
-Skilled in the use of standard debug tools.
-Knowledge of IPC 610 inspection requirements and 7711/21 workmanship standards.
-Understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes
-Be familiar with ESD safe requirements and standards.
-Experience of working in teams.
-Positive attitude, excellent communications and interpersonal skills
-Punctual and reliable
