We are seeking a detail-oriented and computer-proficient individual to join our client as a Production Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for measuring diamond particles for strength, aspect ratio, and size using image analysis systems, sizing to FEPA standards. Your attention to detail is crucial, as the materials involved are only 2 carats in weight.
Responsibilities:

- Utilise image analysis systems to measure diamond particles for strength, aspect ratio, and size.
- Ensure adherence to FEPA standards in sizing and use a Friability tester for detailed measurements.
- Handle small weights (2 carats) with precision during the measurement process.
- Analyse measurement results and manipulate materials to achieve specified shapes, sizes, and strengths.
- Utilise tools such as vibration tables for shape manipulation, splitting materials into bins, and employing models to reassemble bins as per specifications.
- Execute a full QC check on manipulated materials to ensure they meet the specified requirements.
- Work with various tiles blended according to customer orders, carefully following the recipe for the desired mix.
- Develop a keen understanding of customer orders and create recipes by blending various tiles in the required ratios.
- Ensure precision in following recipes to meet customer specifications.
- Display proficiency in computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Have a basic understanding of ERP systems, preferably JDE or similar, to facilitate efficient workflow management.
Qualifications:
- A high level of attention to detail, especially when dealing with very small particles and small weights.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with JDE or similar ERP systems is a plus.
