Title: Production Operator
Contract: Permanent with probation period
Shift: Days, evenings and nights
Salary: €14.00p/hr (Includes shift allowance) + Overtime available
Industry: Food GMP
Location: 10km from Limerick city centre- own transport required
Our client is looking to hire a Production Operator with a minimum of 3 years mechanical machine running experience in the recent 5 years. In addition to Operator duties, the person is responsible for monitoring, fault finding and managing Machine alarms while operating within set quality standards. The Ideal candidate is an eager learner, have excellent communication skills and a drive for continuous improvement.
The production environment is a fast moving and heavily automated so experience working in a similar environment is desirable.
Primary Tasks:
Operation of Machines in line with production schedule and quality targets.
Complete product Visual Inspection as per agreed process and log results.
Keep an accurate log of work carried out and adjustment made
Complete all process documentation.
Ensure that shift handover sheet is accurate and complete and reflects all relevant information.
Ensure housekeeping standards and safe work environment is maintained at all times.
Ongoing review and check for machine performance issues.
Provide cover for Operators during breaks, training, meetings, holidays etc.
Essential skills:
Strong Mechanical Aptitude essential
3 years previous experience working in similar role in a GMP manufacturing environment
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Logical approach to problem solving
