Job Title: QC Operator Laboratory based.
Location: Tuam, Co. Galway
Shift pattern: Night Shift- Monday to Friday
Salary: Attractive rate of pay
Contract: Initial 12 months contract
eFlexes recruitment are current hiring a QC / Laboratory Operator for one of our large manufacturing customers in the Galway region. This exciting role will be based in the Research and Development test department. The role will involve carrying out routine physical testing, maintain effective records of work completed, Communicate test information/issues across shifts and Support on off-shifts as required by project demands.
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing/industrial experience.
• Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Outlook)
• Exceptional trouble shooting/root cause analysis skills/attention to detail
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment
• Must understand chemical handling and associated hazards
• Must possess a strong understanding of safety and PPE requirements
Desirable
• Analytical experience in a product development (R&D) environment
• Knowledge of laboratory data management system
• Third level qualification in Science or Engineering
