eFlexes Recruitment and Staffing Solutions have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Operator with our client in medical sector based in Limerick City, Co. Limerick. It is a permanent contract role.
JOB SPECIFICATION
The Manufacturing Operator will be responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform cleaning on assigned machines. The Operator also will be responsible for inspecting parts to specifications and completing adjustments necessary to maintain quality specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up machines in accordance with established procedures (program selection, etc.) to start a production cycle
Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
Feed raw material or parts to automated machines
Check operation of machines periodically
Fix issues that might occur during the shift
Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
Maintain activity logs
Provide cover for other team members as required
Pack out products efficiently ensuring that products are up to standard
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience (1-2 years) as an operator in manufacturing environment (medical ideally)
Understanding of production procedures
Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. use of protective gear)
Ability to read procedures
Attention to detail
Teamwork and communication skills
GMP training desirable
