We are currently working with an aerospace client based in Shannon who are seeking a Production Team Member. Our client is a leading supplier in aerospace products globally, and specialise in wind, aircraft and electric motor components.

This role will report to the Team Lead & Production Manager, and will involve routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes. Requires the use of hand tools.  Disassemble and process parts received for repair in accordance with applicable procedures and within acceptable time limits and quality standards. Prepare kitting facility to the repair process. Wind, aircraft electric motor components within acceptable time limits and quality standards.

 

Responsibilities:

•             Disassemble all assigned parts, strip, clean and prepare for winding or repair under supervision.

•             Make and prepare coils.

•             Prepare kits for winding.

•             Wind, connect and test all components where winding procedures are established.

•             Assist in the development of specifications, tooling and winding procedures where procedures are not established.

•             Train and direct the activities of lower grades.

•             Read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions

•             Demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools

•             Demonstrate proper use of electrical/mechanical measuring devices

•             Test and calibrate parts

•             Other duties that may be assigned by the Operations Supervisor.

 

Experience Required:

 

•             Minimum of Junior Certificate qualification or equivalent

•             Experience in assembly, disassembly of electro-mechanical equipment.

•             Proven dexterity and mechanical aptitude.

•             Ability to read drawings.

•             Acumen required to rewind electrical motor parts

•             Production assembly experience preferred

•             Must have experience troubleshooting and the ability to interpret schematics

•             Must be highly motivated and dedicated to exceeding customer expectations

•             Enthusiastic, professional and customer focused

•             Excellent attention to detail

•             Positive attitude and proven problem-solving skills
