Due to continued expansion, our Clare-based client has an immediate opportunity for a Purchasing Coordinator to join their team.
The new Purchasing Coordinator will become part of a friendly and supportive team in a busy, fast-paced office. Free onsite parking is available and easily accessible.
The Purchasing Coordinator will report to the Service Desk Manager and work closely with the Repairs Sales Manager.
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain all inventory including, but not limited to, sourcing, ordering, allocating, dispatching, and tracking.
- Provide weekly reports on parts order status.
- Provide daily updates on parts order status for urgent sites.
- Maintain job parts status to ensure the smooth scheduling and commencement of works.
- Ensure engineers' van stock levels are always sufficient.
- Ensure depot stock levels are always sufficient.
- Maintain a busy mailbox and action requests in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Assist with answering calls and queries from clients.
- Ability to prioritize work.
- Maintain the Purchase Order system and provide Purchase Orders when required.
- Review and approve Purchasing Invoices from suppliers within timelines to ensure prompt payment.
- Assist the Repair Sales Manager to meet monthly repair targets.
