We are now recruiting for a part time (1 day per week) Occupational Therapist position in Meath, working with adults with developmental disorders and/ or intellectual disability.
The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
- Assess the case history of patients.
- Devise and carry out appropriate assessments (e.g. functional, sensory, etc).
- Provide interventions to enable the individual engage in meaningful activities.
- Support with the development of the MDT.
- Work with other healthcare professionals such as nurses and speech & language therapists.

- Problem –solving approach
Prerequisites:
- Experience in providing OT to individuals with intellectual disability.
- Experience and interest in sensory integration
- Degree qualified
- Membership of the AOTI
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working as an OT in the public or private sector
- CORU registration
