Due to continuing and rapid expansion, our Shannon based client has a new and exciting opportunity for Production Manager to lead their Medical Device operations in Shannon, Co. Clare.
Leading the new medical device operations, the Production Manager will scale new customer programs and deliver exceptional and unique customer experiences. This new position will drive business critical projects from project planning through to launch, and into “run business”, including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending and employee performance. As Operations Manager, your primary objective will be to deliver operations production schedules within budget, meeting all technical, regulatory and operational requirements.

Requirements for the Role:
Five years Medical Device manufacturing experience, preferably at production management level, within a team-based medical device manufacturing environment
A Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or other relevant discipline is essential
Confident preparing business strategies and implementing action plans
Strong knowledge of inventory systems, MRP and measurement tools essential
Excellent presentation and communication skills both written and verbal
Enjoys a team-based environment, which places high degree of emphasis on accountability for service levels, inventory management, standard cost, and expense control and quality compliance
Strong leadership skills, with excellent negotiating and influencing ability, demonstrated success in managing change, developing a team, and managing performance issues
An excellent team player that can leverage the abilities of all personnel working within Medical Device operations
