Due to continued growth our Shannon based client is seeking a Project Manager to join their team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing project implementation plans, managing direct reports, and crafting comprehensive project plans to ensure successful project delivery.
As Project Manager within our Project Management Office, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating, planning, and executing projects aligned with the overall business objectives. The role is also responsible for specific project tasks associated with one of our major clients.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

Collaborate closely with the Senior Project Manager to create comprehensive project implementation plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives

Assist the Senior Project Manager in developing, maintaining, and executing detailed project plans, establishing clear milestones, deliverables, and timelines for each project

Providing templates, best practices and guidelines to the organisation

Manage and allocate resources efficiently to ensure suitable deployment for various projects at optimal times.

Ensure overall project governance, providing regular, comprehensive reporting on project progress, milestones, budgets, risks, and resource utilisation

Support the production of materials for monthly and weekly project meetings, coordinating evaluation surveys, and maintaining project status dashboards.

Supervise and guide direct reports, providing day-to-day management and support

Foster collaboration and communication among teams, facilitating effective project coordination across the organisation.

Act as a liaison between project coordinators and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with programme goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Lead project communications, overseeing messaging and updates that impact participating businesses and stakeholders.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders both internal and external, understanding their needs and proposing viable solutions

Develop and execute a communication plan for project-related information, determining issuance timing, responsible parties, and delivery channels.

Develop, refine, and maintain project management processes for the programme, including but not limited to monthly work completion reports, escalation processes, and change requests.

Manage and document internal project calls, maintain phase close-out reports, and ensure timely billing on designated projects.

Managing the close-out summary reports for external resources (e.g. Technical Diagnostic Experts)

Liaising with accounts to ensure billing is up to date on external resources (e.g. Technical Diagnostic Experts)

Maintain the Annual Leave Tracker for the project team, ensuring accurate records and compliance.
Required Skills and Competencies:

Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role in a client facing capacity with a proven track record of successful project delivery

Strong leadership and team management abilities

Experience of scoping, planning and scheduling medium to large Projects

Experience of working in a Digital Marketing environment

Proficiency in project management tools, methodologies and best practices (experience with Monday.com is a plus)

Budget and Time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Strong organisational, multitasking skills, analytical and problem solving skills

Proven success working with all levels of management

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships

Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control

PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
