Senior Buyer – German Language and International Travel
Our client develops and manufactures technologically advanced electronic and electromechanical (mechatronic) products for a variety of international customers. They now wish to appoint a Senior Buyer / Engineer with a manufacturing background and electronic process with power electronics experience, who will become the purchasing member of a project management team.
Complete contract and price negotiations with suppliers
Supplier development logistics / quality / technology
Implementation of vendor programmes – EDI, consignment stock and self-build
Identification and bench-marking of new suppliers and co-ordination of supplier related activities
Efficient analysis of material requirements to keep SOS to a minimum
Candidates should be graduates and have 2-4 years relevant experience in a SAP environment. An ability to work and lead a project management team is also a requirement. German language skills are a distinct advantage as the successful candidate will be based in Germany for minimum of 1 year at the outset.
