Quality Manufacturing Engineer - Cork City Immediate role!!
Have a background in Quality/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience working with ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems.
Technical writing skills. (Excel- Advanced).
Responsibilities
Manage the Quality Management System.
Generate and analyse the Process results and produce Monthly Quality Metrics. Use these results to drive improvements. Work closely with the Engineering/Production Teams re process improvements across 2 Sites.
Supplier Management. Work closely with our Suppliers to implement process improvements and resolve Quality issues (CAPA/Improvements System).
Document Control. Implement and control Documents and Procedures across all departments (Quality, Material Management, Production, Engineering and Sales & Marketing).
ISO Audits. Manage our ISO 9001:2015 Certification.
Customer Quality Audits. Liaise with Customers to focus on their requirements and implement improvements.
Factory Witness Tests. Co-ordinate the Quality Management aspects of the FWT’s.
Liaise with Customers re Quality issues concerning FWT’s and Site issues.
Health and Safety. Responsible for managing our Health & Safety requirements for our 2 Sites.
Training Management. Responsible for ensuring all employees are Trained and Competent to do their job and are certified re statutory requirements. Develop and Implement Training plan.
Manage Employee Inductions.
Responsible for Maintenance and Calibration of company equipment.
Work closely with External Management Consultants to implement process improvements.
