Speech and Language Therapist - Cork (Permanent/Part-Time – 12 hours/month)
We are now recruiting for a Permanent/Part-Time Speech and Language Therapist based in the Cork region – Adults with development delay e g – Autism. The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities in the Care of the Elderly setting:
- Assess the case history of each client
- Devise and carry out appropriate assessments with each client
- Source medical equipment solutions as appropriate and document all recommendations
- Work with other health professionals such as nurses, dietitians, physiotherapists, GP's etc
- Liaise and communicate with clients’ families and other relevant parties
- Maintaining up to-date notes to include client symptoms, treatments and progress

Prerequisites:
- Experience in providing Speech and Language Therapy to the elderly population
- Degree qualified
- Membership of the IASLT
- 3 years experience working as an Speech and Language Therapist in the public or private healthcare sectors
