Speech and Language Therapist - Midlands (Initial 3 month period, Part-Time)
We are now recruiting for a Part-Time Speech and Language Therapist based in the Midlands region. The role will consist of 3 days per week for an initial 3 month period. The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities in Care of the Elderly settings:
- Assess the case history of each client
- Devise and carry out appropriate assessments with each client
- Source medical equipment solutions as appropriate and document all recommendations
- Work with other health professionals such as nurses, dietitians, physiotherapists, GP's etc
- Liaise and communicate with clients’ families and other relevant parties
- Maintaining up to-date notes to include client symptoms, treatments and progress

Prerequisites:
- Degree in Speech & Language Therapy
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist in the public or private healthcare sectors
- Experience providing Speech and Language Therapy to the elderly population would be an advantage
- Membership of the IASLT and CORU
- Need access to own transport and a Smart phone
