GENERAL SUMMARY
This position will utilize specialized technical or engineering knowledge/product applications to install/repair and trouble shoot the brands / APV brand equipment located at customer sites.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
•	Attend to scheduled service work to meet service contract requirements and to provide technical support to clients. Travel to customer sites is an essential aspect. 
•	Perform equipment maintenance in accordance with contracts, and to promptly prepare and submit required reports. 
•	Perform emergency breakdown service for customers. 
•	Perform HTST evaluations as required by government regulations. 
•	Promote Services agreements on equipment. 
•	Promote use of APV original parts on equipment. 
•	Assist in the follow up orders (equipment and parts), from order intake to delivery - returned goods, invoicing and payment. 
•	Assist clients, as needed, by phone or in person, in troubleshooting equipment or system problems. 
•	Create a positive work environment/relationship with colleagues and all customers. 
•	Any other duties as required. 
EDUCATION SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 
•	Completion of Apprenticeship Program in a mechanical field. 
•	City & Guilds qualification or similar. 
•	Up-to-date Welding certificate an advantage. 
•	Experience in a fluid handling, hygienic environment. 
•	Full clean drivers license. 
•	Travel is an essential requirement of the role. 
•	Strong organization and planning skills. 
•	Meticulous work ethic. 
•	Strong team player. 
•	Results oriented and customer focused. 
•	Excellent communication, influence, and presentation skills. 
•	Health & Safety Training as required by company. 
•	Good general PC skills and knowledge of computer systems (Microsoft office, SAP).
