Speech and Language Therapist - Cork (Part-Time)
We are now recruiting for a Part-Time Speech and Language Therapist based in the Cork region. The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities in the Care of the Elderly setting:
- assess the case history of each client
- devise and carry out appropriate assessments with each client
- source medical equipment solutions as appropriate and document all recommendations
- work with other health professionals such as nurses, dietitians, physiotherapists, GP's etc
- liaise and communicate with clients’ families and other relevant parties
- maintaining up to-date notes to include client symptoms, treatments and progress
The person should possess the following skills:

Prerequisites:
- Experience in providing Speech and Language Therapy to the elderly population
- Degree qualified
- Membership of the IASLT
- 3 years experience working as an Speech and Language Therapist in the public or private sector
- Own transport
