Production Supervisor- North Cork
eFlexes Staffing and Recruitment are currently seeking a Production Supervisor for a well-established and growing Manufacturing facility based in North Cork. This exciting opportunity would suit an individual with a strong background in Manufacturing at a management level.
Salary and package can be discussed on application.
This role is Monday to Friday no Shift work required.
Main Responsibilities:
• Manage the staff review and performance in order to promote a positive work culture.
• Being innovative in relation to manufacturing space design and implementing a lean manufacturing into the work environment.
• Leading projects through the Engineering team to ensure that they are completed on cost, on time & to specification.
• The supervision of the Manufacturing Team.
• Liaising between the manufacturing team and customers as well as management.
• Challenging manufacturing related processes
• From lessons learnt drive design for manufacture and assembly
• Defining process flow and workstation layout
• Identifying all tools and fixtures required to manufacture the product to the specifications and tolerances required
• Ensuring a safe working environment is set and maintained
• Initiating and leading problem solving techniques
• Identifying, assessing feasibility and managing change for both continuous improvements and mandatory requirements
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a production supervisor or similar position within manufacturing.
• Relevant experience in implementing the principles of Lean Manufacturing
• Experience of Manufacturing procedures and regulations
• Production, product and process knowledge
• Strong numeracy & PC skills
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational & planning skills
• Possesses process improvement/problem solving ability
• Proven track record of managing production lines in a manufacturing facility
