eFlexes Staffing & Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for a Large Food Manufacturing organisation in West Cork. This exciting role will offer excellent opportunity to grow in a fast paced and innovative environment. We are currently looking for an individual with strong motivational and team leading skills. Previous experience working in a food manufacturing site is essential.
Duties outlined as an example of expectations of this role:
• Manage and motivate production teams to build morale and enable people to achieve expected results
• Monitor and control departmental costs and performance within targets and regularly report to manager on performance
• Communicate, implement and monitor adherence to, company policies, procedures and standards, including Personnel, Technical and Health & Safety, ensuring that the department operates within legal and best management guidelines
• Monitor overall progress to daily plan across the department and take corrective actions to optimise the efficient running of the department in order to meet customer requirements
• Lead and/or participate in project teams, departmentally or cross functionally to affect continuous improvements
• Liaise with other departments and functions to implement new procedures, improve standards/efficiencies, trial and launch new products
