Quality Manager/Quality Manufacturing Engineer- Cork January 2019 Start
Have a background in Quality/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience working with ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems.
Technical writing skills. (Excel- Advanced).
Responsibilities
• Manage the Quality Management System.
• Generate and analyse the Process results and produce Monthly Quality Metrics. Use these results to drive improvements. Work closely with the Engineering/Production Teams re process improvements across 2 Sites.
• Supplier Management. Work closely with our Suppliers to implement process improvements and resolve Quality issues (CAPA/Improvements System).
• Document Control. Implement and control Documents and Procedures across all departments (Quality, Material Management, Production, Engineering and Sales & Marketing).
• ISO Audits. Manage our ISO 9001:2015 Certification.
• Customer Quality Audits. Liaise with Customers to focus on their requirements and implement improvements.
• Factory Witness Tests. Co-ordinate the Quality Management aspects of the FWT’s.
• Liaise with Customers re Quality issues concerning FWT’s and Site issues.
• Health and Safety. Responsible for managing our Health & Safety requirements for our 2 Sites.
• Training Management. Responsible for ensuring all employees are Trained and Competent to do their job and are certified re statutory requirements. Develop and Implement Training plan.
• Manage Employee Inductions.
• Responsible for Maintenance and Calibration of company equipment.
• Work closely with External Management Consultants to implement process improvements.
