Welder/ Pipefitter - Cork
An exciting new opportunity has arisen in a one of Corks most well-established Air-conditioning companies. On their behalf we are recruiting for the position of Refrigeration Welder / Pipefitter with experience in the HVAC field. This diverse role will see you work on global projects of large scale. This is an expanding company so career progression and development is encouraged. This role is based onsite in the Cork, travel not required.
Role overview:
Liaising and co-ordinating on all AHU engineering aspects with production teams, sales and customers to ensure units completed in timely manner. BOM creation for AHU units. Provide product production instruction documentation and production support for AHU units.
The ideal candidate will have:
-3+ years of experience in a similar role is essential.
-A working knowledge of Autocad and other design software.
-A strong track record in Problem Solving and management of engineering changes.
-A good working knowledge of IT (Word, Excel etc).
-Responsible for the fabrication, layout assembly and brazing of copper piping in the manufacturing process
-Inspect, examine and pressure test pipe assembly
-Experience with brazing of copper pipe to a high standard
-Experience in pipe fitting, welding and fabrication in the manufacturing of Close Control and HEVAC Air conditioning units on a factory assembly line
