On behalf of our client, we are looking to hire an experienced Yard Supervisor to join their team based in Co. Limerick on permanent contract basis.
This is a very hands on role within a busy yard & warehouse environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing yard operations to ensure customer products, operations, deliveries and pick ups are met.Flexible approach to work to meet business requirements is essential for this role.
Some key responsibilities include:
Building strong relationships with all staff and management to achieve an effective & efficient working environment
Allocating work in accordance with the plan
Loading and off-loading of deliveries.
Participation in the management of deliveries and stock take activities, ensuring that stock accuracy is maintained at all times.
Yard and stores are kept tidy and free of obstruction.
Operating of forklift.
Requirements:
Excellent organisational and time management skills as well as attention to detail
Energetic and physically active person due to nature of the role
Effective team management skills
Ability to work without supervision
Abilitybility to identify improvement items and drive change and continuous improvements
Ability to work well under pressure and that is looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Forklift Licence and valid Manual Handling Cert
Full C Licence, driver CPC card and valid Digital Tachograph card a distinct advantage
