Our client, a long-established, well know Irish brand is looking for an experienced Van Sales Driver to operate out of their Athlone depot in Co. Westmeath.
We are seeking candidates who want to work in the selling environment, with initiative, reliability and good communication skills. You will grow sales by identifying and developing opportunities, support promotional activities and develop strong relationships with all customers. You will also provide a best in class delivery service to customers to ensure their requirements are fulfilled, whilst also looking for potential new sales opportunities.
The successful candidate must:
• be a good team player, be prepared to work six days with flexible hours & have excellent command of the English language.
• hold a full clean driver’s C licence
• have up to date Driver CPC modules.
• be customer and consumer focused, approachable and be able to work on own initiative.
Key duties and responsibilities associated with the role are:
• Servicing customers with branded and own branded products
• Ensuring that sales orders are delivered as required
• Monitoring and managing returns
• Completing required documentation; cash collection etc.
• Carry out agreed weekly rota that has been allocated to you
• Be flexible regarding changes in delivery times etc.
• Represent the Company in a courteous and professional manner
Handheld device experience would be an advantage. Client will ensure that you are fully trained, and have the support of the team so that you succeed in the role.
