HR & PAYROLL OFFICER
eFlexes have an exciting permanent opportunity for a HR and Payroll Officer, with a long-established Clare based Multinational Client. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR and Payroll Officer will focus mainly on payroll with about 20% HR. This is a rare opportunity for a Payroll professional to expand their skillset to encompass Human Resources. The position will have the support of both HR and Finance Department, working within a friendly and collaborative Team. Responsibilities include:
- Managing weekly and monthly payroll, remittances, and filings with appropriate tax authorities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of enhanced automated payroll processes
- Maintain systems and reports with a high level of accuracy of data
- Maintain all HR & Payroll records
- HR communications in relation to H&S, Sports & Social, and plant wide HR notices
- Represent HR on the H&S Committee, Sick Pay Committee, Grievance & Disciplinary Investigations and Recruitment
- Participate in the Tender process for HR Services to the business
- Point of contact for both internal and external HR & Payroll queries.
Education & Experience:
- iPASS or similar Payroll Qualification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent organisational & time management skills are essential
- High level of proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with Sage Micropay & TMS
- Strong work ethic, high level of discretion and confidentiality, operating to the highest ethical and professional standard
