PRODUCTION MANAGER
eFlexes are currently seeking a Production Manager on behalf of a mid-west based client. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Production Manager will hold a strategic position within the senior management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing area. This is a perfect opportunity for the right candidate to progress their career and gain valuable leadership experience.
As a key member of the management team your responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to, and implement, Continuous Improvement Processes that ensure best practice production and improve overall operational performance
- Providing superior technical knowledge, act as lead on all manufacturing engineering development projects
- Bring outstanding leadership, technical knowledge & guidance to a highly skilled team of production operatives; recommend training and changes in work processes where appropriate
- Devise machining strategies to optimize cycle times
- Planning and organising production schedules to optimize production
- Determine and ensure Quality Control Standards are met
- Ensure all H&S Guidelines are adhered to
The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant 3rd level Degree in Engineering or Business
- 3 years Supervisory / Leadership experience
- Strong background in Engineering environment
- Excellent communication, organisation, and negotiation skills
