Due to continued business growth, we are currently recruiting for Buyer/Planner based in Shannon Co Clare. This position will be offered on permanent contract.
Full Time Position – Day shift (Monday to Friday)
Duties include:
• Working closely with finance dept to ensure payments are made in a timely manner
• Inventory Management – manage inventory levels in line with agreed targets. This includes Stock counting and auditing of warehouse locations
• Analysing current market conditions to ensure pricing is competitive
• Issue, receive and manage Purchase Orders and Requisitions
• Adhere to purchasing process to ensure compliance with Company policies
• Adhoc duties (including product pickups in company vehicle) as required
• Keeping ERP system (EPICOR) supplied with accurate information
Requirements:
• 3rd Level qualification in a supply chain, business, finance or other discipline complementary to the demands of the buyer planner role
• Experience in a Production / Fabrication environment desirable
• Experience with ERP systems necessary
• Intermediate proficiency in MS office suite, particularly MS Excel is required
