We are currently recruiting with long established Shannon, Co. Clare based multinational client for Financial Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Administrator to support a leading player in the industry. This role forms part of a larger Finance function which spans across multiple geographical sites. Position will be offered on contract 01-May to 31-Aug-2022 working 32 hr week.
Duties & Responsibilities
·Manage accounts receivable and payable functions.
·Assist in the costing of manufacturing items.
·Assist with account reconciliations.
·Liaising with vendors, customers and internal departments.
·Report the status of accounts and any discrepancies.
·Arranging payments to local and overseas vendors via banking system.
·Assist the monthly preparation of ROS VIES & Intrastat reporting.
·Support and work towards deadlines and month-end/quarterly/annual reporting.
·Any other ad hoc duties as required.
The Individual
·The successful candidate will have 3-4 years’ experience within a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant or similar role.
·Accounting Technician qualification would be an advantage.
·Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and financial transactions.
·Possess strong knowledge of MS Office suite in particular MS Excel.
·Proficiency with ERP (SAP ideally) software.
·Excellent relationship building and communication skills (verbal and written), with a strong attention to detail.
